A toy, a game, a sculpture
This geometric paper toy was first conceived as a work of sculpture during Munari’s research on the subject of multiples. Because of the wonderful playfulness it brings, it was made as a ‘game’ in 1961. Circular disks with a hole in the middle can be folded and joined together to create unlimited combinations of 3-dimensional structures. Aconà Biconbì has inspired many designers and artists worldwide.
Enjoy the beauty and fun of geometry with this sculptural game – simple & complex at the same time!
